African American RCO Capacity-Building Project

With a team of national experts, the Center for African American Recovery Development (CAARD) provides capacity building, education, and advocacy for African American–led recovery community organizations (RCOs). With FORE funding, CAARD will partner with local leaders in three urban areas (Memphis, TN; Mobile, AL; and New Orleans, LA) and one rural area (Orangeburg County, SC) to develop four new RCOs that serve Black communities.
