Timely State-Level Dashboard on Medications for Opioid Use Disorder and Overdose to Track the Impact of Medicaid

The Urban Institute will build and maintain a public-facing data dashboard to track Medicaid coverage of medications used to treat opioid use disorder and reverse opioid overdoses, including buprenorphine, naltrexone, and naloxone. They will also publish issue briefs highlighting key findings for federal and state Medicaid policymakers, congressional staff, managed care plans, and advocates interested in assessing how Medicaid policy changes affect access to treatment.
