Sarah Villafuerte, LMSW

Sarah Villafuerte is the Program Associate for the Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE) and helps manage FORE’s grantmaking and programmatic work.

Sarah has over ten years of experience in Health Care and Public Health. Recently, she spent two and a half years at the Hepatitis Education Project (HEP) in Seattle, Washington-focusing on providing low-barrier HEP services, including viral hepatitis education, testing, and treatment. During the first year of her tenure, she helped clients bridge the gap between viral hepatitis c (HCV) diagnoses and treatment, as well as participating in direct service provisions, distributing supplies to clients, and providing case management services and outreach.

Sarah is a licensed Social Worker in New York and New Jersey with a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Peters University.
