Medical Assistant for a Higher Standard of Care

Meta House provides services for women with substance use disorder and their families in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One of the leading addiction treatment providers in the state, Meta House offers residential and outpatient services including medication-assisted treatment, therapy, case management, and family support services. FORE’s support will enable the organization to hire a full-time medical assistant to partner with the nurse practitioner to address clients’ needs. The medical assistant will primarily serve pregnant and postpartum women with opioid use disorder or another substance use disorder by scheduling their medical appointments and communicating with partner organizations, thus enabling the nurse practitioner to spend more time with patients and their families.
