Rural Recovery Outreach Center and Expanded Services

Mountain Top Cares Coalition, the only recovery community organization in rural Greene County, New York, connects people with substance use disorders to addiction treatment and other health care and social services. It also provides education, harm-reduction services, and peer support. FORE’s funding will support the organization’s first executive director and enable the hiring of two part-time certified recovery peer advocates. It also will enable the organization to purchase the Faces & Voices of Recovery (FAVOR) Recovery Data Platform to collect and analyze data related to client demographics, outreach activities, and outcomes — putting leaders in a better position to measure the effectiveness of their services and secure sustainable funding to expand operations.
